The GNR detained 94 people within the scope of operations carried out in the district of Faro the week of February 20th to 26th.
Of the arrests, 35 stand out for driving under the influence of alcohol, 22 for driving without a legal license and nine for drug trafficking.
During this period, 182 doses of hashish, 90 of cocaine, 14 of heroin, two daggers, a 6,35 mm pistol, an aerosol and a precision scale were also seized.
In traffic, the GNR detected 861 infractions, of which 192 were due to speeding, 63 due to lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 39 related to anomalies in the lighting and signaling systems, 25 due to lack of civil liability insurance and 20 due to use misuse of the cell phone while driving.
There are still 102 accidents to be registered, resulting in one serious injury, 19 minor injuries and one death.
