A 72-year-old man was arrested on the 12th of February, in Olhão, for the Crime of Domestic Violence against his spouse.
According to the PSP, upon arrival at the scene of the incident, the suspect, «who appeared to be drunk», addressed the police «aggressively and with the intention of limiting the action».
While still in her presence, he threatened the victim with death and was immediately arrested.
The detainee was present in court yesterday, February 14th, and the coercion measure of periodic presentations at the police station and measure of removal of the victim and the residence was applied to him.
