Orquestra Clássica do Sul, conducted by maestro João Gaspar, will perform the “Elogio da Juventude”, in a Promenade concert scheduled for February 19, at 16 pm, in the Carlos do Carmo auditorium, in Lagoa, which will feature the baritone Rui Baize.
In this concert, describes the Câmara de Lagoa, «we set out to discover the genius of the youthful spirit in classical music with only one rule: music written by adults is not valid».
Tickets are free for children under 16 and €6 for the rest of the public and can be purchased online or at the ticket offices of CTT, Fnac, Worten, Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Centro Cultural Convento de S. José and Balcão Único of Lagoa City Council.
Young people who attend the show «are entitled to a small surprise, to be drawn at the end of the concert».
