Loulé Open starts today with 17 Portuguese players competing in the qualifying round

The Loulé Open by Cimpor, which starts today, Sunday, February 26th, and runs until March 5th at Clube de Ténis de Loulé, will feature 17 Portuguese tennis players in the qualifying phase and Lukas Rosol, former top 30 of the ATP ranking, on the main board.

The 18-year-old youngster from the Algarve is ranked 1430th on the world table and will have as his first opponent the Irishman David Gabor, of the same age and still looking for his first victory in professional tournaments», he adds.

 

 

The list of Portuguese representatives in the qualifying is complete with the names of Gonçalo Falcão (former 961st ATP and current veteran world champion +30 in singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles), Afonso Portugal, Rodrigo Fernandes, Manuel Guedes de Almeida, André Stewart, Duarte Correia, Tomás Tenil, Francisco Vilaça, Bernardo Henriques and six guests from the organization: six guests from the organization: Salvador Monteiro, João Dinis Silva, Daniel Marincas, Tomás Martins, Afonso Santos and Manuel Guise Pinheiro.
