Albufeira has exhibitions for all tastes in February

Albufeira will have exhibitions for all tastes during the month of February. 

Until the 11th of February, at the João Bailote Municipal Gallery, it will be possible to discover the work of Jacqueline Quedeleux “Galaxy”, a painting exhibition filled with abstract art, where the artist highlights her taste for nature.

The gallery is open from Monday to Saturday, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 13:30 pm to 17:30 pm, closed on Sundays and holidays.

Until the 25th of February, the Municipal Museum of Archeology hosts the photography exhibition “Time Lapses – No Algarve parar o Tempo”, by João Fazenda.

His work is «filled with cultural references, in the field of visual arts, not only in photography, but also in painting and literature». The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:30 am to 17:30 pm, closed on Mondays.

The highlight of the month is the most recent work by Teresa Martins “Contemplando a Natureza”. The painting exhibition will take place at the Pintor Samora Barros Art Gallery, from February 4th to 28th, and can be seen from Monday to Saturday, from 9 am to 30 pm and from 12 pm to 30 pm.

Until March 15th, the Municipal Historical Archive will display the exhibition “The Algarve Identity – charters, permits and royal charters”, organized by the Algarve Archives Network in 2016, in collaboration with AMAL – Comunidade Intermunicipal do Algarve and various municipalities algarvias.

The Archive is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 13:30 pm to 17:00 pm.

Until the 10th of June, it takes place at Esplanada Dr. Frutuoso da Silva the photographic exhibition of Artur Pastor “A Different Algarve”.
