Action took place in January and ends this Tuesday and Wednesday

The Commission for Coordination and Regional Development (CCDR) of the Algarve promoted, as part of its support to local authorities, a training action on the theme “Operative Urbanism – Operationalization of Territorial Plans”, taught by Professor Fernanda Paula Oliveira, from the Faculty of Law from the University of Coimbra.

The action took place on the 17th, 18th and 31st of January and the 1st of February, with the last sessions taking place this Tuesday and Wednesday, the 14th and 15th of February, in online format, achieving a total of 21 hours of training.

The training action is attended by fifty mayors, managers and technicians from the Algarve municipalities and CCDR Algarve managers and workers in public functions, «contributing to the increase of their qualifications and reinforcement of skills».

This training action aimed to provide participants with knowledge on topics such as the systematic (programmed) execution of municipal plans, the economic and financial regime of municipal plans (Cap. VI of the RJIGT – articles 172 to 183 of the RJIGT), or the municipal fund of environmental and urban sustainability / land value (Article 68 of the Basic Law).

This action is carried out within the scope of the Training and Training Program for Public Administration Workers – “ALGARVE (in) FORMA” project, promoted by CCDR Algarve and co-financed by the Algarve Operational Program – CRESC ALGARVE 2020.
