Arbitration Court determines minimum services for teachers' strike

Ministry of Education justifies the request for the definition of minimum services with the «duration and unpredictability of strikes»

The Arbitration Court decided to set minimum services, at the request of the Government, for the indefinite strike by teachers and non-teachers, which has been going on since December, informed today, 27 January, the Ministry of Education.

In a statement, the Ministry of Education justifies the request for a definition of minimum services with the «duration and unpredictability of the strikes decreed by the Union of All Education Professionals (STOP) and the accumulated consequences for students, with regard to their protection, food and support in contexts of vulnerability».

Last week, STOP rejected the proposal for the protection of minimum services that allow schools to be open, provide meals and welcome students with special educational needs, after which an Arbitration College was constituted, whose decision was known today.
