The 7th Mostra Silves Capital da Laranja takes place from the 10th to the 12th of February, next to Fissul. Citrus fruits, wine producers, regional sweets, crafts and music, with Sara Correia and José Cid, are the ingredients of the event.
The event will have its official opening at 10:30 am on the 10th.
«In addition to the citriculture area, dozens of exhibitors linked to wines, agriculture, regional products, confectionery, handicrafts, gastronomy, associations and local and regional institutions will be present», says the Câmara de Silves.
The Orange XXI Conference (where specialists will debate central themes for the production and producers of citrus fruits), the “2023 Silves da Orange Cocktails International Festival” in the modalities of after dinner e flair bartending, the musical animation for children by João Violão and the well-known Marcha dos Namorados, a sporting activity that is part of the Algarve walking and running calendar, are other highlights of the event.
With regard to concerts, on the 10th, there will be a show by Sara Correia, on the 11th by José Cid and, on the 12th, by Mimo´s Orchestral Experience with the Banda da Sociedade Filarmónica Silvense.
