The Municipality of Silves, through the Silves Walking and Running Center – Silves Runners, is promoting the participation of citizens in the Algarve Xtreme Trail race, which takes place in Querença, in the municipality of Loulé, on the 29th of January.
In this initiative, participants can choose one of three events – Long Trail, of 28 kilometers (km), Short Trail (16km) or Walking (10km) – and start training with the Silves Runners group, through weekly walks and running. .
Those interested in participating in the test can make their group registration with Silves Runners, until January 19th, but with limited vacancies.
By registering with this group, participants can also carry out the physical and technical preparation for the 28km, 16km or 10km, they are entitled to travel on the CMS bus, departing from Silves, at 07:00 am, to the participation and socializing kit after approves.
The Algarve Xtreme Trail is a new event on the Alengarve Trail Cup calendar, part of the Portuguese Trail Cup national circuit, south zone, and inserted in the Long Trail Regional Championship, of the Algarve Athletics Association.
