The Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve kicks off this year's concerts in Lagoa, with the show “Soul Powerhouse”, which features the Australian-Filipino singer, Florelie Escano as a special guest.
The concert will take place on the 18th of February, at 19 pm, in the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium.
“Soul Powerhouse” is a program that travels from London to us to take the public on a journey through Soul, Motown, and its evolutions, in a journey that begins in the 60s, until the present day.
Names like Aretha Franklin, Martha & The Vandellas, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Earth Wind And Fire, Pharrell Wiliams, among others, will be presented in this show of rhythm and groove.
Tickets for this show cost 10 euros (20% discount with cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Rota do Petisco 2022 Passport, available at the ticket offices of the Municipality of Lagoa) and are already on sale at BOL and at the ticket offices of CTT, Fnac, Worten, Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Convento de S. José Cultural Center and the Lagoa Municipal Council's Single Counter.
