The Municipality of Olhão, in partnership with the School of Hospitality and Tourism of the Algarve, will promote the program “Formação + Próxima”, aimed at professionals in the hotel, tourism, catering and general public sectors.
In a first phase, for the 1st, 15th and 23rd of February, courses on Introduction to Digital Marketing and French Language – Customer Service are scheduled for the 6th, 8th, 13th and 20th of February. Both take place from 15 pm to 00 pm at the Municipal Museum of Olhão.
According to the municipality, "this cycle of professional training seeks to contribute to the training of tourism professionals in the municipality of Olhão, adding value to the local business fabric and the territory".
The “Formação + Próxima” Program is a project developed by the Tourism Schools of Portugal, in partnership with the municipalities, as agents closer to local realities and mobilizers of the strategic change that is intended to be achieved in the territory in which they operate, with a view to training in the “art of hospitality”, through the development of training content in the areas of soft e hard skills.
