Works at the Messines Market affect traffic

The requalification works of the Municipal Market of São Bartolomeu de Messines will force traffic to be restricted, as of the 23rd of January. 

According to the Câmara de Silves, a «temporary signaling plan will be implemented, for a foreseeable period of five days».

Thus, Rua Heróis de Mucaba (next to the Municipal Market building) will suffer a partial cut in circulation and Rua José Rodrigues Martins will undergo a change in the direction of traffic.

This will be, in the words of the municipality, «a work with a significant impact on the revitalization of the local economy and the urban environment of the town of São Bartolomeu de Messines».
