The University of Free Time (UTL) of Castro Marim restarted its activity on Thursday, the 12th, after the three-year interregnum that the pandemic forced. In this reissue, we seek to bring new activities, with greater encouragement to the practice of physical exercise.
Also new will be the “Monthly Clubs”, with activities on nutrition and well-being and reading and poetry, and the “Habil Mente”, which includes cognitive stimulation exercises.
These new actions are intended to encourage the exchange of experiences, knowledge, motivations and affections.
Decorative arts, lace, trapology, dance, meditation and information technology will be some of the continuing courses.
Continuing with its decentralization policy, the UTL project unfolds in 10 locations – Altura, S. Bartolomeu, Rio Seco, Castro Marim, Monte Francisco, Junqueira, Azinhal, Corte Pequena, Alta Mora and Furnazinhas.
UTL is an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Castro Marim in partnership with the Odiana association, taking advantage of the synergies created with other projects shared by the Municipality.
