The Portuguese guitar of Luís Coelho and the piano of André Gomes will join in two concerts that will take place at Associação Cultural Re-Criativa República 14, in Olhão, on the 21st of January, a Saturday.
The show, which will explore the frontier between fado and jazz, is based on the album “Contos de Cordas”, released in 2021 by composer and guitarist Luís Coelho, but also features “new songs and adaptations, in which the influence of jazz, even though the sound maintains the matrix of Portuguese identity that enhances the timelessness of the creations».
The lineup, scheduled for an hour of performance, includes the theme “Inconstância”, one of the most popular from the album “Contos de Cordas” and even an adaptation of “Fado Menor”, «being a tribute to fado and its lovers who are, par excellence, the stage and public of the Portuguese guitar».
