Loulé invests more than 1 million in social work

Support was given to 34 private institutions of social solidarity and other third sector entities

Loulé Council allocated a sum of 1 euros to 083 private institutions of social solidarity and other similar entities in the third sector of the economy, under the program to support local social development.

This is a value that «will serve to support the responses of the associative movement of the municipality», within the scope of the social measures promoted in this sense.

Support for the development of activities, the maintenance and renovation of buildings and energy efficiency and the acquisition of equipment and vehicles are the areas to which this subsidy will be channelled, helping to meet the needs of the most fragile and at-risk populations.

'Making Loulé an increasingly inclusive, cohesive and sustainable municipality, where there is a robust IPSS network, with all the conditions to be able to provide excellent social work to the population, is the main objective of this support», stresses the municipality.
