Bruno Mendes da Silva selected for scientific stay in Vietnam

UAlg Alliances 2020 project, coordinated by the University of Algarve under the Erasmus+ European Program – Key Action 1 International Credit Mobility

Bruno Mendes da Silva, professor at the Higher School of Education and Communication of the University of Algarve, was selected for a pedagogical and scientific stay at the University of Hue, in Vietnam, within the scope of the UAlg Alliences 2020 project.

On this visit, the researcher will give a lecture/workshop and seek to expand the work network of the Center for Research in Arts and Communication (CIAC), at an international level, advances ESEC in a note published on its Facebook wall.

From the pedagogical book Audiovisual Communication: the love train, written in 2021, Bruno Mendes da Silva promotes the lecture/workshop “Audiovisual Language”.

The session proposes an introduction to the main filmic concepts, offering the necessary tools both for reading and analyzing them, as well as for audiovisual production. It is intended to explore the most relevant concepts of audiovisual language through the analysis of some specific moments in the history of cinema.

On this visit, Bruno Mendes da Silva will also seek, through meetings with managers, academics and researchers, to create a network in the area of ​​Communication, Culture and Arts and to position CIAC at an international level.

The UAlg Alliences 2020 project, coordinated by the University of Algarve within the scope of the European Program Erasmus+ – Key Action 1 International Credit Mobility, supports the mobility of students, teachers and administrative staff, with the aim of creating and developing channels and tools with institutions from all over the world. world in its main pillar areas: Tourism, Sea, Cultural Heritage and Health and Wellness.
