School teachers across the country, namely in the Algarve, continue their strike this Monday, which is expected to last until the 16th, in a nationwide protest action convened by the Union of All Teachers (S.TO.P).
In the Albufeira school grouping, teachers of various levels are on strike at Basic and Secondary Schools, at EB Dr. Francisco Cabrita and also on the EB1 Vale Pedras, as the photos show.
To what Sul Informação found out, the stoppage also continues at Poeta António Aleixo Secondary School and at the neighboring EB23 D. Martinho de Castelo Branco, both in Portimão. In this city, a concentration of teachers is planned at 18 pm, next to the City Hall.
For their part, the schools belonging to the Silves Sul cluster – Armação de Pera/ Algoz and Alcantarilha – are closed due to this strike.
Tomorrow, between 8:00 am and 9:30 am, teachers at the Professora Diamantina Negrão Primary School, in Albufeira, will also join the strike.
