Portimonense loses to Casa Pia with a late goal

With this defeat, the Algarve remain in 7th place with 19 points

Portimonense lost by 1-2 to Casa Pia, in a match for the 14th round of the First Football League, played this Wednesday, December 28th, in Portimão.

On this return from I Liga, after the stop for the World Cup, Casa Pia was the team that scored first.

In the 30th minute, Neto hit a free-kick on the edge of the area, the ball deflected off Relvas and betrayed Nakamura.

Portimonense did not give up and two minutes later won a penalty, due to a foul by Lucas on Yago.

Paulo Estrela did not tremble and scored the tie, at 35'.

In the second half, Casa Pia was always on top of the game: Portimonense barely existed on the field.

The winning goal for the visitors came in the minute of added time. Antoine, who had come on a few minutes ago, scored the three points for the Lisbon side, with a subtle header.

With this defeat, the Algarve remain in 7th place with 19 points.
