A 19-year-old young man was identified this Monday, December 5th, for robbing commercial establishments in Quarteira and Vilamoura.
As part of an investigation that had been going on for about three months, the GNR found that the suspect was stealing using a large knife, taking advantage of the moments of the day with a reduced flow of people, choosing, mostly, female victims.
After a house search warrant, a knife, a pair of gloves, a mobile phone and 2 euros in cash were seized.
The suspect, who was sentenced to four years in prison with a suspended sentence for crimes of robbery registered in 2020, was constituted as an arguido and the facts were communicated to the Judicial Court of Loulé.
