During the Christmas and New Year period, the Municipality of Loulé will change the garbage collection schedule, "in order to provide a better service to citizens and avoid the accumulation of waste on the public road".
The news was advanced by the municipality, which explains, in a note, that, on the 24th and 31st of December, the collection will be made from 13:00h, and on the 26th of December and 2nd of January, from 22:00h.
On the 25th of December and the 1st of January there will be no garbage collection. On other days services are held at normal hours.
"The Loulé City Council calls for everyone's collaboration and understanding in this festive season with regard to the correct placement of waste in containers and proper recycling, in order to guarantee more sustainable and environmentally friendly Festivities", the note also mentions.
