The Union of Parishes of Moncarapacho and Fuseta once again organizes New Year's Eve with a dance, DJ and the traditional first bath of the year.
After the interregnum due to the pandemic, this year, on December 31, in the Ribeirinha da Fuseta area, from 22:00, there is a party with the Fusense group “Tons de Baile”. In 2023, the party starts to the rhythm of the renowned DJ Miguel Simões, former announcer and entertainer at Rádio Comercial and M80.
At midnight there are fireworks on Praia dos Tesos. Also on this beach, on the 1st of January, at 10 am, the First Bath of the Year takes place: an initiative that «has captivated more and more brave people, with more than a hundred expected», says the União de Freguesias.
