CCDR launches notice of “Portugal 2030” funding for schools

This notice is published under the extraordinary anticipation mechanism of “Portugal 2030”

The Commission for Coordination and Regional Development (CCDR) of the Algarve will present this Thursday, December 29, from 11:00 am, the first notice for applications under the “Portugal 2030” Partnership Agreement, which aims to finance school infrastructure.

This notice is published under the extraordinary anticipation mechanism of “Portugal 2030”, especially dedicated to candidacies for policy measures with a relevant impact on improving social and territorial cohesion and competitiveness.

On the other hand, within the framework of the transfer of competences from the Central Administration to the Local Authorities and to the Intermunicipal Entities foreseen in Law n.º 50/2018, of 16 August, the Government assumed the a group of schools whose ownership was transferred to the Municipalities, creating for this purpose the Program for Requalification/Rehabilitation of Schools, within the scope of the sectorial agreement established with the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities (ANMP), celebrated on 22 July.
