Chamber mourns the death of Claudisabel, who took Loulé «to the stages she stepped on»

The Loulé City Council launches a note of condolence for the death of the Loulé artist Claudisabel, who died in the early hours of this Monday, December 19, aged 40, following a road accident on the A2.

«A recognized artist in the world of light music, a figure present on television, Claudisabel also took the name of her homeland to the stages she stepped on, inside and outside the country», recalls the municipality, praising «the artist's contribution in promoting the name of the municipality of Loulé".

Cláudia Isabel Leiria Madeira was born on October 4, 1982, in Loulé. Her recording career begins in 1995, with her first work, “Dizias Tu, Pensava Eu”. In 1998, the album “Pensei Com o Coração” was released. That same year, she participated in the compilation “De Mãos dadas”, but it was in 1999 that she achieved her greatest success with the theme “I Need a Hero”. In 2001, it was with her fourth album, “Meu Sonho Azul”, that she had yet another great success of her career, “I won't go back to crying”.

He also released, in 2005, “Preto no Branco”, and in 2009, “Quem és tu”. In 2010, and at the hands of composer Jordi Cubino, she is invited to participate in the Festival RTP Canção with the theme “ContraTudo e Contra Todos”. In 2020, with a different approach and a completely renewed musical style and a striking image, a single named “Condenada” appears.
