Toronto-bound plane makes emergency landing at Toronto Airport Faro

There were 148 people on board

A plane from the Canadian company Air Transat, bound for Toronto, had to make an emergency landing at Faro, this Wednesday, December 7th, due to an engine problem. 

O Sul Informação learned from the District Command of Relief Operations that the aircraft departed from Faro at 11:40, but returned, having made the emergency landing, which took place safely, at 13:04.

On board there were 148 passengers and close to a hundred operatives were on site.

The anomaly is being reviewed by airport staff and firefighters.
