On the 17th and 18th of December, from 10:00 am to 18:00 pm, Altura will have a Father Christmas Garden.
«The small market will delight visitors, with lots of traditional sweets and locally produced products, such as dried fruit or honey», says the Castro Marim Chamber.
Supporting local businesses and small producers of food products and handicrafts is one of the main objectives of these markets, which also take place at other times of the year.
Children's animation is another of the initiative's bets, which features inflatables, face painting and a fun “Atelier dos Elves”.
On the 18th there will be Christmas carols at 16 pm, sung by the Folkloric Group of Faro.
As usual, Altura also has Christmas lighting.
This is an initiative of the Parish Council of Altura, with the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim.
