With the objective of reinforcing the urban waste collection service, the Municipality of Aljezur acquired a heavy collection vehicle.
This heavy vehicle has a capacity of 16m3 and was an investment with its own funds, worth almost 205 thousand euros, thus reinforcing its fleet of this type of equipment.
Also in 2022, Aljezur City Council invested in various equipment, light vehicles, pick-ups, a backhoe loader, electric urban vacuum cleaners, among others, for a global amount of more than 500 thousand euros.
«This is an investment made with own funds, adapting and modernizing the various services of the municipality», says the municipality.
