Algar and Zoomarine “exchange” strawberry trees and composed of recyclable packaging

Under a Christmas bell

The company ALGAR and Zoomarine will offer arbutus trees and samples of Nutriverde organic compost, produced by the company that manages recycling and waste in the Algarve, to whomever delivers 20 kilos of recyclable packaging at the Algar Transfer Station in São João da Venda.

Anyone wishing to access this offer, made as part of a Christmas campaign, should go to the entrance of the Algar Transfer Station, located in Barros de São João da Venda, in the municipality of Loulé, on weekdays, from Monday the 2th, between 6:9 am and 00:17 pm, from the 00th to the 15th of December, and deliver the 30 kilos of recyclable packaging, duly separated (paper/cardboard or plastic/metal or glass), mentioning that you deliver to the scope of the “Arbutus Tree” campaign.

«After weighing the recyclables, go to the company's headquarters (in the same place) with the weighing ticket to receive in exchange the Nutriverde and Strawberry Tree donated by Zoomarine within the scope of the campaign "Together we protect", of the "Operação Montanha Verde ”», according to ALGAR.

To date, “Operação Montanha Verde” has provided more than 126.000 trees to 8 municipalities and various regional entities.

Nutriverde is obtained exclusively from the recovery and treatment of green waste from parks, gardens, golf grounds and agricultural activities, through a biological process known as composting. The production of this compound is carried out by Algar and allows the company, annually, to value around 15 thousand tons of this waste, avoiding its deposition in landfills.
