PSD/Algarve discusses State Budget that «will not» solve problems in the region

In the opinion of Cristóvão Norte, president of the PSD/Algarve, «it is not with this budget that the Algarve will solve its problems»

The PSD/Algarve will organize this Saturday, November 12, starting at 15:00 pm, a day of debate on the State Budget, with the presence of Inês Palma Ramalho, vice-president of the National Political Commission, at the Hotel Paraíso, in Albufeira .

In the opinion of Cristóvão Norte, president of the PSD/Algarve, «it is not with this budget that the Algarve will solve its problems».

«This budget will be very difficult for all Portuguese people. Inflation is out of control, interest rates are skyrocketing and the country has a very high debt, which, in addition to serious insufficiencies in essential services, such as health, do not bode well. And, with a government incapable of tackling the problems, it's even worse”, he says.

As for the Algarve, the same official is pessimistic: «What is included in the budget? The requalification of the EN-125, no. The Central Hospital of the Algarve, no. The electrification of the railway is delayed. The Port of Portimão and Faro, are not included. Water measurements are delayed. Housing policies do not advance. Tolls will increase by 10%. What's left? In general, the Government does not have the right policies, and in the areas that it does, it does not implement them in time».

For the rest, the PSD, in conjunction with the deputies of the PSD Parliamentary Group elected by the region, will present proposals for amending the budget that will be known in the coming days.
