Praia da Rocha, in Portimão, will be the stage for the final of the Esperanças National Bodyboard Championship in the sub12 and sub16 categories, male and female, on the weekend of 3rd and 4th December.
This is an exclusive National event for athletes who managed to qualify in their regional circuits across the country.
In a note, the Portimão Surf Clube recalls that «had the honor of organizing», at the beginning of the year, the first stage of the southern qualifying circuit, where the home athletes, Duarte Firmino under18 and Rafael Nóbrega under14, were Champion and Vice Champion of the stage, respectively.
«We hope once again a weekend with waves worthy of an excellent championship, as well as an incredible performance from the best athletes of the modality in Portugal», the club also mentions.
The event is organized by the Portimão Bodyboard Center (Portimão Surf Clube), the Portuguese Surfing Federation and has the institutional support of the Portimão City Council. The sponsors of this stage are Trash, Secret Spot surf shop and Fisiorider.
