What everyone can do for the Sea is the subject of conversation and exhibition in Albufeira

The conversation is inspired by the exhibition of illustrations by Mary Berry, with the title “Putting the dots on the Is, in the prevention of the Oceans”

“Conserving our sea – what everyone can do” was the title chosen for the conversation to take place at the Pintor Samora Barros Art Gallery, tomorrow, Saturday, November 19, from 15 pm to 00 pm. Biologist Miguel Rodrigues, inspired by the art of Albufeira artist Mary Berry, with the support of the Centro de Ciência Viva do Algarve, brings to the municipal gallery a moment of reflection on the conservation of the sea and its species.

The conversation is inspired by the exhibition of illustrations by Mary Berry (Maria Oliveira), curated by João Espada and under the title “Putting the Dots on the Is, in the prevention of the Oceans”.

The initiative, which had the support of the Centro de Ciência Viva do Algarve and its PrOceano project, brings biologist Miguel Rodrigues to one of the most renowned art galleries in the county so that, from 15 pm to 00 pm, the importance of community in defense of the sea and marine species.

The exhibition “Putting the Dots on the Is, in the prevention of the Oceans” by the artist Mary Berry from Albufeira, was inaugurated on the 4th of November and, according to the author, seeks to raise awareness of caring for the oceans and marine life, calling for action joint efforts to protect the sea, reduce plastic consumption and sustainability.

The exhibition, which serves as a theme for conversation, is on display at the Pintor Samora Barros Art Gallery until the 25th of November, with free entry from Monday to Saturday, from 09 am to 30 pm and from 12 pm to 30 pm.
