Music and theater will be in the spotlight in November, at the Albufeira Municipal Auditorium.
This Saturday, the 5th, at 21 pm, “Entretenga”, one of the most emblematic bands of Portuguese popular music, invite the Grupo de Cantares do Faial, entitled “Ilha Azul” for a demonstration of Azorean sounds to the people of Albufeira.
The show “Entretenga invites… 'Ilha Azul”, organized by AMECA – Organization of Music and Cultural Events of Albufeira, in partnership with the Municipality of Albufeira, is free for the public over six years of age, subject to room capacity.
On the 12th, the Auditorium will host a concert by Rogério Charraz.
“O Coreto”, the singer's new album, is presented in Albufeira at 21:30 pm. Tickets cost 5 euros.
Saturday, the 19th, José Praia and Aqua Viva will take the stage «for a night full of happy and captivating music», guarantees the Câmara de Albufeira.
The band founded in 1986, in Albufeira, is one of the biggest references of Portuguese traditional music, taking the name of the city throughout the Algarve region and beyond. The concert takes place at 21:30 pm and tickets cost 5 euros.
On the last weekend of the month, the 26th, at 21 pm, ACTA – The Algarve Theater Company presents “Pedras com Asas”. The text is by Alexandre Honrado, with strong inspiration in William Shakespeare's “Romeo and Juliet”.
The piece is for people over 12 years old and admission costs 5 euros.
Tickets for the events can be purchased at Galeria João Bailote, during weekdays, from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 13:30 pm to 17:00 pm or on the day of the show at the Municipal Auditorium box office, up to 15 minutes before the start.
