Luís Brito is once again chairman of the Board of the Teia d'Impulsos association, this time for the 2023-2025 triennium.
The elections took place this Saturday, November 5, at the headquarters of Teia D'Impulsos in Espaço Raiz, in Portimão. With the presentation of a single list to assume the “reins”, the new president Luís Brito is a founding partner and president between 2016 and 2021, being accompanied by “a group of more eclectic people with very diverse life experiences, who maintain a strong connection to the association and who are committed to pursuing old and important projects, for which the Association is known, but also to embracing new challenges”.
The direction of Teia D'Impulsos is thus also made up of Cândida Pereira (vice president), Guilherme Ribeiro (treasurer), Rui Cintra (secretary),
Daniela Duarte (vocal member), Inês Reis (vocal member) and Roberto Vieira (vocal member).
The Board of the General Meeting is chaired by João Monteiro, with Luís Ramalho as vice-president and António Catarino as secretary. The Fiscal Council is composed of André Mota (chairman), Vitória de Matos (vice chairman) and Maria Dirce Bárbara (secretary).
«This begins a new chapter in the history of the Algarve association, which is committed above all to continuing its social work with the community», emphasizes Teia d'Impulsos.
In the words of Luís Brito, “Teia D'Impulsos has a history based on a strong relationship with the community and an open relationship with its partners” and this is “a culture that we intend to reinforce with the continuity of anchor projects, such as the in the case of Rota do Petisco, Vela Solidária or FICA, but which will have to be leveraged with adequate responses to our socio-economic reality”.
The president also admits that “the sustainability of the work carried out, both internally and in terms of social impact, will constitute the guiding line of action regardless of the size or durability of each action or project”.
Alongside social intervention, a parameter that crosses all areas of intervention and all TDI projects, environmental sustainability “will be the motto of many activities”, adds the official, adding that “we assume environmental responsibility as one of the pillars organizational development for Teia D'Impulsos, for all areas of intervention”.
Finally, the relationship with the members and the nurturing of their sense of belonging to the association also reveals to be one of the bets of the new management: “This is a legacy that we intend to respect and value with the development of a relationship of proximity and sharing with everyone partners, from the founders to the most recent”.
