The solidarity campaign “For Ukraine. Pelo Mundo”, launched in September by the Municipality of Lagos, in partnership with the Portuguese Red Cross, has almost 1 million views.
In just two months, the videos that make up this action – one main video and a set of eight videos with testimonies and stories from local people from various areas and nationalities – approach one million views. Published and promoted on social networks in the municipality of Lagos and on those created for the campaign, the videos recorded over 1,6 million impressions.
In addition to this initiative, a crowdfunding campaign is underway under the motto “Our greatest attribute are people”, which aims to collect funds for the Emergency Fund of the Portuguese Red Cross and aims to “support war refugees , not only Ukrainians, but also from other parts of the planet».
The solidarity action, which also includes a set of physical supports in the county (such as billboards, billboards, posters and press advertisements), runs until 31 December.
