Future Eco Surf School joins the movement to improve social and environmental impact

Future Eco Surf School, a surf school located in Praia da Rocha, in Portimão, has joined the B Corp movement to improve the social and environmental impact of its economic activities.

This movement, which has already reached 83 countries, integrating around 5600 companies and a total of more than 450 thousand workers, aims to influence changes in economic processes, in order to support the collective vision of a more inclusive, fair and regenerative economy .

The social and ecological priority assumed by Future Eco Surf, since 2020, in its economic mission has put the Algarve surf school in tune with the movement.

«The change can be seen in the restructuring and constant improvement of operational strategies and procedures. Improving the quality of life of employees and involving customers and partners in this greater objective of taking care of our planet and contributing to a more balanced and conscious community», says Future Eco Surf School in a note, stressing that a better future is achieved with «various small, eco-friendly steps» like converting the fleet of vans to electric vehicles, buying locally, minimizing waste by transforming and reusing obsolete equipment such as neoprene wetsuits (into useful new bags, suitcases, laptop covers or lunchboxes) and surfboards surfboards (on new surfboards or decorative materials).
