The last national downhill race (DHI) will take place next Sunday, at Fonte Férrea, São Brás de Alportel. This is the closing race of the Final Season trophy presented by Shimano.
The moves start on Saturday, with free practice, but it's on Sunday that the track comes to a boil. The morning will be occupied with training, with timed descents scheduled for the afternoon.
At 14:00, the qualifying heat begins, an hour and a half before the descent that will define the classification. The list of entries already has about 80 runners.
