Teachers from Olhão participate in European training within the scope of Erasmus+ KA1

One of the aspects addressed was the sharing of experiences

Three teachers from the Dr. Francisco Fernandes Lopes, from Olhão, participated in two European training courses, within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA1 Programme.

Two of the teachers were in Reykjavik, Iceland, to participate in the course “Mindfulness and Meditation", organized by "Smart TeachersPlay More".

For seven days, they had the opportunity to participate in practical sessions, with relaxation and meditation techniques to be used in the classroom context.

In addition, they were able to get to know the school system of the host country, as well as that of the other participating countries.

One of the highlights of this course was the session “Sharing good practices!”, in which participants experimented and shared pedagogical activities, which was considered “quite interesting and enriching”.

Another teacher traveled to Belgium, where she participated in the course “Pedagogics & Culture: Exploring Belgium and its education system. Integrative and interactive approaches to teaching".

There were 27 teachers and directors of European schools who participated in this training, which were provided with workshops on the Belgian educational system, applications for use in study visits, school innovation, among others.

The course program also included a visit to the “College Mélle”, where participants were in direct contact with students and teachers, visited classrooms and participated in activities.
