The fourth concert of the “Belmarço Recitais de Piano” cycle will take place on Sunday, November 27th, at the headquarters of the Gimnásio Clube de Faro, which organizes
The guest pianist is Jorge Nascimento, who will interpret a piece by Ludwig van Beethoven (Sonata almost a fantasy op 27, nº 2 and Sonata op 53).
Jorge Nascimento was born in Lisbon, but grew up in the city of Faro, where he began his musical studies at the Conservatório Regional do Algarve in the class of Daniela Marinova Bogdanova, having also worked with Isabel Vila Lobos.
He then continued his piano studies in Lisbon, with Miguel Henriques, and simultaneously attended the National Conservatory of Lisbon, where he studied Composition with Eurico Carrapatoso and Musical Sciences at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Later, in the Algarve, he studied with Armando Mota and Oxana Anikeeva, continuing his studies at ESART, in Castelo Branco, where he completed his course in the Piano class.
He taught piano in several schools in the Algarve from 2006, having ended his teaching career in 2020.
The “Belmarço Piano Recitals” cycle is intended to honor Adelaide do Rosário Belmarço.
