The Municipal Auditorium of Albufeira is preparing to host several Christmas Shows, during the month of December, which include music, dance and magic.
The program begins on December 7, at 20 pm, with the show “Viajando”, an initiative by Futebol Clube de Ferreiras (FCF), «which promises a night full of dance, magic, joy, glamor and passion». It is a trip around the world, through memories and through life, expertly interpreted by the various FCF dance classes. Tickets cost 30 euros and can be purchased directly from the organization.
On the 15th, at 19 pm, it is the turn of Associação LUEL – Arte em Movimento, to present the show “A Época Mágica”. On stage will be all dance classes, in a show specially organized for the whole family, full of music, dance and lots of magic. Admission is free, subject to room capacity.
As happens every year, Associação SOUL also brings its traditional Christmas show to the Municipal Auditorium of Albufeira. On the 19th, dancers from the Albufeira association will present their “Christmas Show”, an artistic moment that shows the rigor, passion and beauty of these young people's movements. Two sessions are scheduled, at 21:00 and 22:00. The ticket costs 4 euros.
The great highlight of the month of December is once again the Orquestra Clássica do Sul Christmas Concert, which takes place on the 21st of December at 21 pm.
The concert, conducted by the principal conductor of Orquestra Vitae de London Pablo Urbina, for the first time in Portugal, includes a repertoire with some of the most beautiful melodies of Christmas, by Coleridge Taylor, E. Elgar, Mendelssohn, E. Waldteufel, J. Avery (ARR.) and L. Anderson.
Admission is free subject to room capacity, however tickets must be picked up on the day of the show, between 20:00 pm and 21:15 pm.
