The Portuguese Association for Victim Support (APAV)/Algarve organizes, on the 25th of November, a conference against domestic violence, in the Auditorium of the Convento de S. José Cultural Center (Lagoa).
The conference will feature three panels: “Support for Victims of Domestic Violence in the Algarve Region”; “Intervention and Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence in Intimate Relationships”; and “APAV's specialized support for vulnerable victims”.
There will also be a roundtable: “Municipal Plans for Equality: “An integrated response in the fight against Domestic Violence”.
The initiative has partnerships with the Municipality of Lagoa, the Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People of Lagoa and also serves to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
