On December 8, Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort will turn on its Christmas lights

Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort will celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve with an exclusive menu that invites you to travel the world without leaving your table.

For the 24th of December and Christmas Day, buffet dinners (69 euros per person, drinks included) will be prepared at the Victoria restaurant, with entertainment by a musical group.

Among the main dishes are cod au gratin with prawns and leek, octopus confit with sautéed turnip greens and turkey roll with dried fruits and rosemary sauce, leg of kid roasted in the oven with rosemary sauce or suckling pig roasted in the oven with sauce of peppers.

For dessert, there are pumpkin dreams, king cake, Christmas trunk, egg and caramel pudding, dark chocolate mousse and white bûche de noel with raspberries.

On the 31st of December, the New Year's Eve celebrations begin at 19 pm with a welcome cocktail, sparkling wine and canapés.

At 20:30 pm, the New Year's Eve Gala begins with an Anantara Journeys – East meets West buffet, with a performance by The Snowman until 00:00 am. From 00:00 the Cash Bar opens and party with DJ Danny.

The buffet dinner prepared for the last day of the year includes salads and snacks, sushi, seafood and main dishes such as roasted corvina with Bulhão Pato sauce, giant monkfish cataplana à la Algarve, roasted veal rack with pepper sauce or fresh pasta rotola with spinach and cottage cheese and mushrooms.

For lovers of international cuisine, the buffet features Tom Kha Gai Soup with chicken, coconut, coriander and galangal, Gaeng Massaman Nua veal curry and Thai green curry with vegetables and basil. On the dessert table there is orange cream milk, chopped bee almond tart and king cake.

 

 

From the 8th of December, the Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort will turn on the Christmas lights to the sound of the Christmas carols. One of the attractions will be the chocolate sculpture “Natal é Amor”, created by the pastry team and which will be on display in the hotel lobby.

The sculpture, almost two meters long, made with 30 kilos of chocolate, will include a Christmas tree that will serve as the basis for a large ball on which a Christmas village will be created (all in chocolate).
