«ABC is now entering a new phase of its life, with the same objectives, although with new leadership», said Vítor Aleixo, in statements to Sul Informação.
Taking into account «the projects that Loulé has in partnership with the ABC», the Loulé mayor said he was certain that Pedro Castelo Branco, announced today as the new president of ABC, will maintain «the same line of course», to guarantee the «implementation of the highly ambitious and important projects for the Algarve».
Vítor Aleixo also made a point of expressing his «confidence in the work of Dr. Pedro Castelo Branco», who will assume his new duties on the 8th.
As for Nuno Marques, outgoing president of ABC, the mayor of Loulé underlined that «the Algarve has lost a man of unusual qualities, a achiever, with an incredible capacity for work».
