ABC distinguishes winners of clinical and translational research projects

Projects are financed by funds from the Association for the Development of the Academic Center for Research and Biomedical Training of the Algarve (AD-ABC)

The Algarve Biomedical Center (ABC) will award the researchers who distinguished themselves in the clinical and translational research projects “José Mariano Gago” and “João Larguito”, in a ceremony scheduled for next Monday, November 28, at 15 pm, at the Coordination and Regional Development Commission (CCDR) of the Algarve, in Faro.

«The objective is to distinguish and recognize the winners, but also to honor the patrons of the awards: José Mariano Gago and João Larguito», says ABC.

The “José Mariano Gago” grants, a translational research project, and the “João Larguito” grants, a clinical research project, are two of the largest research grants that exist at national level, and whose objective is to support scientific research.

The projects are financed by funds from the Association for the Development of the Academic Center for Biomedical Research and Training of the Algarve (AD-ABC) and are aimed at researchers who invest in original and innovative ideas, of a multidisciplinary and translational nature, but also projects that value clinical research in the thematic areas developed in the ABC.
