The Municipality of Vila do Bispo increases from the current 1.700 euros monthly support to the Cultural and Social Center of Figueira to 2.600 euros, thus reinforcing the monthly support with another 900 euros.
The collaboration protocol between the municipality of Vila do Bispo and the Figueira Cultural and Social Center was signed on the 13th of October by Rute Silva, mayor, and Celestina Costa, president of the Figueira Cultural and Social Center.
The support totals an annual increase of 10.800 euros with effect for the current year.
«This measure arises with the mission and purpose of reinforcing and continuing the actions promoted by this institution, since it promotes, among the elderly population of the parishes of Budens and Barão de São Miguel, a set of activities that stimulate personal development. and social life aimed at their integration into society and family environment», the municipality says in a note.
