Rogil will have a party, on the 29th and 30th of October, with peanuts (alkagoita) to promote his product of excellence.
According to the Câmara de Aljezur, the date chosen for the event even took into account «the end of the peanut production cycle, that is, the period immediately after harvesting».
During the two days you will be able to taste a wide range of peanut-based food products, in the taverns, in the stands of the confectioners or local producers present at the event. Honey, sausages, liqueurs and other local products will be part of this gastronomic show. Musical entertainment will be a constant during these two days.
On the 29th, there will be a concert by Ricardo Pires with his saxophone, by Banda “Origens” with Portuguese and Spanish music, and by Ricardo Glória and Marco Filipe.
«On the 30th, we have the Musical Performance of the Entrelaçar Project of the Municipality of Aljezur, with a concert of Cape Verde music “Kriol” with Danilo Lopes, Renato Chantre and Renato Chandre, and the night will end with the performance of Rui Soares & Lau», says the Aljezur Chamber.
As part of the program and with the collaboration of “Lavrar o Mar”, two sessions of the Culinary Theater “Soup` Alapatate” (by the Belgian company Laika) will also be presented.
With the youngest in mind during this edition of Amendoim em Festa, there will also be ceramic, inflatable and trampoline workshops.
Amendoim em Festa – Rogil 2022 is an organization of the Parish Council of Rogil with the support of the Municipality of Aljezur.
