Silves marked the opening of the new school year with a welcome session for teachers in the municipality, on the 3rd of October – and there was no lack of animation.
The program, which took place in the city's Castle, included the presentation of the 2022/2023 Educational Offer Guide by the various sectors of the municipality and a welcome drink promoted by students of the professional Bar course at Escola Secundária de Silves. The event was animated by DJ MC and DJ Sérgio Costa.
Each teacher also received a Guide to the Educational Offer 2022/2023, which contains the various projects and activities of the Municipality, a notebook by the pedagogue and poet João de Deus and a pen/pencil set, to support the planning of their work.
The municipality also took the opportunity to wish a good school year to all teachers.
