The young people of Portimão are being challenged by the City Council to participate in a forum for public consultation, as part of the review process of the Municipal Master Plan (PDM), scheduled for October 17, between 20:45 and 23:30, in the formation of the Portimão Museum.

The session is intended for “all young people in secondary, professional and university education, unemployed young people and young workers in the municipality of Portimão, up to the age of 30”, according to the Chamber.

This is one of the thematic forums for public consultation that the municipality of Portimão has been promoting, to collect contributions for the ongoing review.

After the forums aimed at technicians working in the area of urbanism and the general public, «it will now be the turn to give voice to young people so that they can contribute to the implementation of a strategy for the development of the territory, pointing out ways and placing in the future the roots of action of the present».

«The PDM is a fundamental document for the planning and management of the territory, so everyone's opinion is important to define priorities and outline the actions that will make Portimão a more qualified, more competitive and better quality of life municipality», concludes the Chamber of Portimão.

Participation in this session is limited to 50 participants and is subject to prior registration, which must be done here.
