The XI Jornadas d'O Companheiro, with the theme «Percursos em Liberdade – time does not erase», will take place in Lagoa, in the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, on October 26, from 9:30 am.
The seminars are aimed at the general public, technicians from different institutions, students and professionals from different areas.
The Companheiro carries out these Conferences for the seventh consecutive year in Lagoa and with the collaboration of the City Council, «given the immense repercussion of success that they have been revealing and of enormous dimension at the national level».
Companheiro – Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) is a non-profit, public utility insertion community that intervenes at a psycho-socio-professional level, especially with ex-prisoners. It provides reception, insertion, guidance, monitoring and management of dynamic and unique solutions, focused on the needs of the person.
As part of a technical cooperation protocol, the Municipality of Lagoa established a partnership with O Companheiro, for the constitution of the Southern Office.
This year's edition of the Conference has several professionals from the most diverse areas linked to current issues of society in general, where various types of intervention can be discussed, namely Law, Psychology, Social Communication, the National Health Services and Local Health, Security Forces and Community Support.
