“One man show” Philippe Lelièvre takes the stage at Teatro Municipal de Portimão

French comedian makes his debut in the Algarve

A clumsy director at the head of a troupe of unlikely comedians tries to put together a stage-worthy comedy, but the play isn't funny and that's where the laughter begins.

This is the premise of the performance “Plus que Givré” (“More than ice cream” in Portuguese), which French comedian Philippe Lelièvre presents on October 19, at 21:00 pm, in the Grand Auditorium of TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão, by invitation from the UFE Algarve – Union des Français de l'Étranger presents.

Alone on stage, Lelièvre, directed by the also comedian and film director Arnaud Lemort, plays, at a hellish pace, a series of characters, each one colder than the last.

Throughout his performance, the actor offers us a true scenographic whirlwind, in which, changing gestures, voices, facial expressions, attitudes, accents or language register, he is permanently transformed.

Tickets cost 25 euros and can be purchased online at tempo.bol.pt or at the TEMPO box office, from Tuesday to Saturday between 13:00 pm and 18:00 pm, and on the night of the show, until it starts.
