Man dies in railroad collision Faro

Victim was about 60 years old.

A man in his 60s died on the morning of this Monday, October 17, after being hit by a railroad on the line near the town of Chalé das Canas, in Faro. 

Ao Sul Informação the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) said that the alert was given at 7:30 am and that circulation on the line was reestablished at 9:10 am.

There were 13 operatives on site, supported by five vehicles, from the Sapadores de Faro, INEM, PSP and Infrastructures of Portugal.
