The 19th edition of Festival MED, in Loulé, will take place between 29 June and 2 July of the next year 2023.
The dates were announced during WOMEX'22 – Worldwide Music Expo, an event dedicated to the world music sector, where MED was once again present.
More than 2600 professionals (including 260 artists) gathered from the 19th to the 23rd of October, at the Altice Arena and Sala Tejo, in Lisbon, as well as in various spaces in the Portuguese capital, to promote the global music industry but also to connect, inspire and share experiences.
“This fair once again allowed new partnerships in transcontinental markets and an open international economic and cultural dialogue. Those who passed through these days had the opportunity to visit stands 58 and 59, where the Festival MED team was available to transmit all kinds of information about the event, establish contacts and exchange ideas with other partners. .
More than 50 nationalities, seven stages, around 700 exhibiting companies, more than 100 speakers, dozens of concerts, film cycles, lectures, debates and the usual award ceremony were some of the numbers that marked the five days of networking this 28th edition of WOMEX.
